QMaze 2K9 Rules & General Guidelines

 

@      One team per college

@      Maximum Eight members per team

@      One can participate Maximum two events

@      Clashes between the teams are not encouraged.

@      Judges decision will be final.

@      If there is any clarification regarding the rules kindly ask them before commencement of the event.

@      Rules will not be changed under any circumstances.

@      Strict discipline should be maintained.

@      If there is a tie-up it will be broken by firing additional questions.

@      Mobile phones are not allowed during the events.

@      Due to the time consumption, the participant who participated in Qiqihar (Paper presentation) should not participate in Q-Tip(Marketing) and in Qua (Software Contest) should not participate in Quartic (Debugging)

@      Conform your participation through Mail or Mobile phones.

 

Qiqihar

     (paper presentation)

 

Topics:

 @      Grid Computing.

 @      Mobile Computing.

 @      Data warehousing and mining.

 @      Embedded systems.

 @    Neural Networks

 @      Fuzzy Logic

 @      Cluster Computing

 @      Human Computer Interaction

 @     Any current topic of relevance.

 @     Any innovative new algorithms.

 

Rules:

 @      One team per college.

 @      Maximum two members per team.

 @      Participants must bring both soft & hard copy during presentation.

 @      Time Limitation is minutes for presentation and  minutes for queries.

 @      Judge decision is final.

 @      Last date for submission of papers in E-mail and hard copy: 28-01-2009.

Quapaw

     (Quiz)

                 A form of game or mind sport in which the players (teams) attempt to answer questions correctly, brief assessments used in education to measure the growth in knowledge ability.

Rules:

         @    One team per college.

           @       Two members per team.

 

Prelims:

                 @    Totally 30 Questions.

            @      Each Question carries one mark.

            @      Time Limitation is 30 minutes.

 

Rules:

      @     On Stage finals will be conducted

 

 

Quartic

     (Debugging)

 

 Defect or difficulty, as in a system or design, Search thru the System from the first line onwards. If you find any annoying things, eliminate malfunctioning elements of the program.

 

Rules:

  @      One team per college.

  @      Two members per team.

 

Prelims:

  @      Questions Based on ‘C/C++’.

  @      Totally 30 Questions.

  @      Each Question carries one mark.

  @      Time Limitation is 30 minutes.

 

Final:

@      Questions Based on ‘C/C++’. 

@    Debug an entire program.

 

Qua

     (Software Contest)

 

            Learning, thinking, or understanding with speed and dexterity, Perceiving or responding with speed and sensitivity. Reacting immediately and sharply, Create new software from quick sparks from your technical mind

 

Rules:

       @       One team per college.

         @       One member per team.

 @      Questions Based on ‘C/C++’.

 @      Judge decision is final.

 

Q-Tip

     (Markrting)

 

Rules:

     @    One team per college.

  @    Five members per team.

 

Prelims:

   @      Totally 30 Questions.

   @      Each Question carries one mark.

   @      Time Limitation is 30 minutes.

 

 

Finals:

      @     On stage finals will be conducted.

 

Qkt

     (Communication Game)
